Just out of interest…On 13th January 2022 Eastbourne Lodge 7057 successfully Raised Bro Steven Paul King. Which due to our ongoing covid climate was the first 3rd Degree Ceremony since 10th Oct 2019. The ceremony was conducted by W.Bro Laurence Arnold, with the Traditional History by W.Bro Geoff Collier. Due to covid we lost a few key officers last minute, but thankfully to our members we were able to cover these positions. One position in particular was our lodge Secretary, which the APGM W.Bro John Hornblow was able to stand in and deliver with very little notice.With the pleasure of three Grand Officers in attendance, there were a good number of visitors, three of which are now potential joining members. The reply to the Visitors toast was from W.Bro John Plumridge. A Past Master who lives local, but is not of this Province and this was the first meeting he had attended for two years. The visitors reply was very emotional, praising freemasonry on all levels and in particular Eastbourne Lodge on all aspects of our Masonic traditions and support, bringing him back to his love of the Craft. Our newly Raised Bro Steven King was delighted to finally enjoy his ceremony, having being Passed to the 2nd Degree back in November 2019.Bro Steven King now a Master Mason… What lay ahead to continue his Masonic journey?
