Wow – never thought when we started on this journey a few weeks ago that we would be sharing this picture. A massive thank you to the Sussex Freemasons who have been unbelievably generous in their donations to our Campaign. In addition to the bags of toys which have been collected through various centres in East Sussex, the trustees donated £1500 which enabled us to buy literally 100’s of toys to be donated to the More Radio Toy appeal 2022 (https://lnkd.in/g6zQymgE) In addition to the toys you see, all the boxes behind are full with gifts for all ages. On behalf of the Partners and myself we would like to thank Mike Harris who is Chairman of the Sussex Masonic Charities (on the right) and who orchestrated the amazing financial donation, and John Cannell (on the left) of Eastbourne Lodge and who has been driving round collecting endless bags of toys to drop off to our office. A special mention also to Adam Scarbrow who is a member of the Eastbourne Masonic Lodge and has been instrumental in organising the donations from his fellow members. Finally a big thank you to Kevin & Geoff from just-a-second in Church Street Eastbourne for donating the beautiful Christmas Tree in the background so we could have the perfect setting for our photos.
We have also received donations by way of gifts and money from colleagues, friends, family members and through our networking and so again thank you to everyone. We haven’t even got into December yet and the response has been overwhelming, BUT still plenty of time as the Campaign continues through until 16th December with other charities also being supported so please share this post, spread the word and lets keep giving this Christmas where we can.
